{"id":2536,"date":"2024-08-17T00:50:04","date_gmt":"2024-08-16T19:20:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/expertvakil.com\/indian-kanoon\/?p=2536"},"modified":"2026-09-12T16:22:25","modified_gmt":"2026-09-12T10:52:25","slug":"bns-section-128-force","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/expertvakil.com\/indian-kanoon\/bharatiya-nyaya-sanhita-bns\/bns-section-128-force\/","title":{"rendered":"BNS Section 128"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h1 id=\"h-bns-section-128-force\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">BNS Section 128 &#8211; Force.<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"secp90493\">A person is said to use force to another if he causes motion, change of motion, or cessation of motion to that other, or if he causes to any substance such motion, or change of motion, or cessation of motion as brings that substance into contact with any part of that other\u2019s body, or with anything which that other is wearing or carrying, or with anything so situated that such contact affects that other\u2019s sense of feeling:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Provided that the person causing the motion, or change of motion, or cessation of motion, causes that motion, change of motion, or cessation of motion in one of the following three ways, namely:\u2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">(a) by his own bodily power;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">(b) by disposing any substance in such a manner that the motion or change or cessation of motion takes place without any further act on his part, or on the part of any other person;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">(c) by inducing any animal to move, to change its motion, or to cease to move.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/expertvakil.com\/indian-kanoon\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/the-bharatiya-nyaya-sanhita-bns-section-128.jpg\" alt=\"BNS Section 128, Section 128 BNS Force, BNS Section 128 meaning, BNS Section 128 definition, Section 128, What is under BNS 128, expert vakil\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>BNS Section 128 &#8211; Force.
